White tool boxes

I've noticed that all of the major truck brand tool companies offer white tool cabinets and chests, yet I never see them anywhere. I know many think they are for medical type applications or something, but if you guys have any pics of white tool boxes post them, because I think they'll be as rare as a white elephant.

Ya I would think they would have a limited market base as I would imagine that would be more a shade of grey/black in the typical shop with all the dirt and grime

But in the right location ie audio or medical I would think it would be good

there are a couple of older ones floating around out here. they look good if you are a clean freak and can handle polishing everyday.

How about a white Snap-on Epic box at a Freightliner shop???? I don't know if I can get a pic of it or not (our Snappy guy dropped it off there a few weeks back). It was a nice looking box with the full width drawers for every drawer. I can't imagine trying to keep it clean working on diesel trucks though.

I think they look good, but there is no way I could keep greasy prints off of mine and I would spend wayyy to much trying to do so.

How about a white Snap-on Epic box at a Freightliner shop???? I don't know if I can get a pic of it or not (our Snappy guy dropped it off there a few weeks back). It was a nice looking box with the full width drawers for every drawer. I can't imagine trying to keep it clean working on diesel trucks though.

My wife actually considered white craftsman boxes in her commercial kitchen. She decided against them for some reason, I cant remember why now though.

My dealer just sold a white Epiq box he had on his truck. I'm not sure who on earth would want a white one unless it was in a super clean enviroment.

I've seen them in some high end build shops or chassis builders where things stay generally clean. If I were say a nuke technician I'd own one

I've seen them in cleanrooms in a facility that makes stainless steel manifolds for semiconductor manufacturing, but I'm like Nik95Turbo... I just can't imagine any kind of automotive/truck tech buying one.

Oh yeah, there was some high-pitched protest, but manlogic prevailed. "After all", I reasoned, "Where else would you put your expensive(Pampered Chef) kitchen TOOLS but in a kitchen tool box?" So I heard all the "He did WHAT??" from her friends, some, who have since reluctantly admitted it looks nice. Naturaly, I removed the wheels for a built-in look and put a nice, polished 10ga stainless top on it. It's the perfect height for her and although she won't admit it, she seems to enjoy organizing the drawers. But yes, I'd have bought it in white if available.

Although I like the uniqueness of the white So box, I wouldn't want one. For some reason it just doesn't look right to me. Although all my trucks are white (easy to keep clean IMO).

I would love to see some pics in someones home kitchen. I have actually considered it for mine. How cool would they look next to a viking or sub zero appliance.

The best thing about this, is that if you run outta room in your tool box, you can stick em' in the wife's box. I'm sure she be thrilled if she found a few Snappy wratchets in her box.

I think those white boxes look very nice. Keeping them clean is another story. Funny thing is I've actually seen red craftsman boxes used in several hospitals in ICUs and nurses stations.

On the cover of the latest SO "Hot Tools" flyer,they show a 90th anniversary edition Epic box ( without the power drawer,though ) that is pretty sharp looking,in whilte,but the drawer pulls are in black so they wouldn't show greasy prints.

I think the white looks sharp, and I don't think it would be any worse to keep clean than a red one. I mean, no one is touching these pristine boxes here anyway. Just make the pulls black or chrome.

I'd personally like a yellow box...
