Whiteboard cutting

I have a 4'x8' whiteboard and need to make it 2 pieces 4'x4' without damaging the writing surface.
I have a power circular saw, a jig saw, and a reciprocating saw.
Help me decide what to use.

OK, the whiteboard is made of ferrous metal. Is there much chance of it splintering?
Guess I should have mentioned that.

If it's metal I'm out of ideas, most of my knowledge is wood related.

Side note: Do they make circular saw blades for cutting metal? If so, I'd use one of those and cut from the back and then use a file to clean up the edges.

If its plastic coated ply a high tooth count blade, if its epoxy or colourbond coated metal you will need a thin sheet metal blade like Freud make. In both instances cut from the back and cover the cut line on the writing side with masking tape.

Have it sheared at a local HVAC shop.

Another vote for this one. Exactly what I did for a 4x8 sheet I had to rip down to 43" wide to go over my workbench, looks great!
