Who actually used Casoman impact socket on Amazon?

I sold my Craftsman 3/8 impact socket set a while ago. I hated that they are contained in four boxes metric inch shallow and deep. Also, there's no 16mm at all. So I first tried the OEM Tools set in green foam tray. That was a disaster. Seriously low quality. I sent it back. Woot refunded me after a long wait. Not fun.

The next logical choice would be gearwrench 44 piece set for $95. I like GW stuff in general. That's good. However, their 44 piece set doesn't have 21mm shallow. No 22mm at all. Those are included in another metric only set for $85. Really annoying.

So I searched on Amazon and it didn't take long to come across the Casoman set

I know this is in general a junky brand. But I really like the complete package. And the review is great. So just curious whether anyone actually used it before? And how is the tool? Is there any warranty at all? Thanks for chiming in!

I hate to be this guy, but you've had 2 poor experiences buying cheaper options. I would just bite the bullet and buy something like sunex or grey pneumatic and know you're getting something decent. Warranty on either will be a PITA, I believe its GP who does consider amazon an approved vendor, thus no warranty.

22mm is 7/8 in most peoples worlds, as 19mm and 3/4" are interchangeable for all practical purposes

How is Neiko's warranty? The equivalent Neiko product is this one:

It is fairly comparable to the GW set. Quite a bit cheaper, which is good. It also lacks 21 and 22mm sockets.

I know GP doesn't care about warranty if bought from Amazon. I am surprised to hear that Sunex does not play well with warranty. I had good experience with GW in the past for warranty. If there is no good option, I am just going to buy the GW set.

Never heard of them. Why not buy from a known entity like Gray Pnuematic or Sunex? And a 1/2" set is going to get you better coverage in the larger sizes (above 19mm)

I highly recommend NAPA Carlyle Impact sockets. They are rebranded Sunex, which everyone loves. You can get complete sets of shallow and deep sockets in either metric or SAE, all in the same easy to carry case.

I have the metric 1/2” set with shallows and deeps, all in the same case. The only skips are in the high 20’s.. like 26, 28, 29mm etc… stuff you’d probably never use.

I’m partial to my Craftsman impacts for home use when working on the cars and such, but the Carlyle set goes with me when I’m working on something away from home.
