I once bought some Neapolitan ice cream and when I got home, I found out that someone had eaten the chocolate part and left the vanilla and strawberry.

Haha! I know. :lol_hitti

Seems I've always been the only one to like the stuff. I like SPAM as well, but it has to be raw out of the can. Gets way too salty tasting when fried.

Dinty Moore isn't tooooo bad, if you're a bachelor:lol_hitti, but Spam must be fried, preferably with a couple of fried eggs, for breakfast.

Pay no attention to that pineapple guy, obviously something ain't right with the boy.

Got a buddy (not so much anymore) that likes to cheat. His storage unit got robbed and he was bitchen about his beer signs getting stolen. I said " what the f... didn't you steal them?" He made a BS list of stuff to make sure his deductible was met. He discussed with me giving him some receipts written by me and I thought if you are just going to make **** up do it yourself.

I just remembered, my first big yard came with a old 48" Yazoo mower. The yard was to big so I decided to build a trailer with two pushmowers mounted on back. It was quite a rig. I had the whole thing built when I discovered both motors seamed to be locked up. You could barely pull the rope. The store was pretty far away so I boxed them up and off I went. I showed the kid what I was talking about and got 2 brand new ones. When I got home I mounted them on the trailer and I'll be damned if both of them weren't locked up too. I couldn't believe it. I don't remember what got me thinking about it but I figured out that since I was not mounting these mowers with wheels or handles I had no way to disengage the safety brake on the flywheel. I had been trying to start them with the safety brake applied. Bum de dumb dumb. All I had to do was remove the spring that applied the brake and they spun like magic.

I've known a few liars, cheats, and thieves in my day that done dumb shiat like that, luckily most are in prison now or dead.

I think they do need to do something to put a stop to it,it just makes the honest people, like myself, have to pay more for a product in the future.

The last time I got an oxygen sensor, the plastic packaging had been cut open and neatly taped back together. The sensor was there, but the package was missing the anti-seize.

Seriously? You gotta be kidding me.

My "used brake pad" take a chance deal:

I recently took a chance and bought some Centric premium brake pads from the Amazon Warehouse, returns basically.

I had looked up the Centric number and plugged it into Amazon. I saw new and 1 used (used brake pads?), when I clicked on used it took me to the warehouse.

Package arrived with the cardboard box beaten up, but the pads were still in the Centric shrink wrap (never opened). I got them for under twenty dollars, including shipping. Amazon Prime new was $37.83, "used" was $12.90. I paid 9 bucks for expedited shipping.

I still can't believe it. :) (They came from the Kentucky warehouse)

My brother worked at Home Depot and they had a car tire mounted in the employee lounge. Story went some guy came in and wanted to return the 4 car tires he bought from another HD...and they took em back.

Every Home Depot had this.

Story really was that a lady came in wanting a refund for the tires. HD has never sold car tires. They refunded her whatever price she named just to keep a customer happy.

They took the tires down years ago. Actually the one in my store fell down twice because it was mounted to drywall with toggle bolts.:shocking:

Reminds me of the can of Dinty Moore stew I bought at Walmart a few weeks ago. When I opened it I found whole kernal corn inside. "What the f**k!" Then I noticed the paper label didn't fit the can all the way to the bottom. "Ok, I see what someone did!" They bought the stew and a cheap can of corn and switched lables, then returned for a refund. Do that on a few cans and that's quite a savings. I now check paper labeled canned goods closely before buying. There's a lot of scummy people out there. Guess that's what I get for shopping and saving money at Walmart.

HAHA! when I was 16 I worked in a grocery store and one of the managers would swap labels between cat food and tuna fish.

Some cats got a gourmet meal but im sure the person who got cat food instead of tuna was pissed:scared:

This didn't work out so well for someone I know. He claims he put some hardware (a few dollars' worth at most) in his pocket because his hands were full. But when he "forgot" about it at checkout loss prevention got him. A few weekends in jail and court costs were probably worth a little more than some screws.

I wheeled a few things out of HD a few weeks ago. When I was putting the stuff in the car, I found a couple of iron fittings in the bottom that I forgot about. Hey, I was in there an hour going all over  Anyway, I walked them back in, fessed up to the theft and paid. I thought the girl at the checkout was going to pass out.

I love warehouse deals. A lot of them are not even returns. Just something that got damaged in the warehouse or was discontinued.
