does anyone besides SO make the wobble plus extensions?

its time to upgrade my extensions from garbage and i could really benefit from wobbles, i have Cman at home and i like the wobble, but i tried out the snap-on plus style, with wobble and straight, and figure if im going to buy nice extensions for the next 30 years its worth it to go all the way.

so do any other manufacturers make these?

All of my Plus-style extensions are Snap-on. And I don't like them. They don't wobble enoughh like the old ones. Are there any better ones?

WERA, but they only have short ones, I guess the theory is you lock on on the end of their lockable extensions if you need to reach deeper.

I have to ask, what would one use the wobble for?

Exhaust bolts on a Harleys (and other bikes) and a pile of other stuff, I got a set of them years ago, one of my favorites, when needed they are a life saver.

GearWrench makes a set of wobble + but I'd avoid them.

most prefer the plain wobble extensions. I do not keep many of the wobble plus. if you push hard it engages the straight part of the extension

I tried to replace a Snap on 18" wobble end 3/8 extension last week and found out Snap on has discontinued the wobble end in anything longer than 11".This is a real piss off.The 18 and 24 inch wobbles were real nice for transmission work. They no longer have the wobble or wobble plus in lengths over 11".

Didn't know that. I have a 24 inch wobbly and when you need it, there is no substitute. Bellhousing bolts is one place for sure.

Just get a short 1" wobble to put on the end.

I have the SK set and really like them. It has seven extensions and the longest is 24".

Edit: Sorry I didn't read the original posting title, The SK set I have is just standard wobble not wobble-plus.

That'll work sometimes and sometimes it won't.I specifically bought that extension because when I put a short wobble extension on a regular one on some vehicles the bulk from the extra extension would be into the firewall and make it impossible to access the bolt.

I'm simply baffled beyond disbelief that this thread is still going.

Let me say this for y'all who are too shy to say it:

Snap-on wobble-plus extensions are a rinky-dink, goofy, mickey mouse, gimmicky product ... pure and simple ... and an embarrassment to us long time SO fans. :wtf:

Nepros make them. I didn't realize it until I was playing with them. That feature actually works very well as it clicks into non-wobble mode.

I have a set of Craftsman wobble extensions and regular Craftsman extensions, and I am very happy with both.

I Never saw the need for a two in one tool that would do both since you either need a regular or a wobble. When would you need to do both at the same time?
