Please measure the inside diameter of your 32mm socket.
I'm guessing it'll be 32.2mm but need verification if possible.

Have got a 32.5mm nut and need to order a socket for it.
Could take it to the store but that would be a PITA right now.

Same here. Generic Taiwan 32mm socket.

GJ socket hoarders, this is the time for your 1-9/32" socket to shine. Does it even exist?

33mm would likely work, but that's another odd size.

I’m actually sitting in the garage and could measure some but not sure if I have inside calibers that work to get an accurate reading for you.

Is it a high torque fastener?

my craftsman (90s era USA) 32mm is closer to 33 (probably 32.8ish) and 1-1/4 is about 32.5 ish both 1/2 inch drive 12 point

1-9/32” = 32.54mm.
Apparently 1-9/32 is a size that was made and used for plumbing applications.

3/4 Whitworth or 7/8 BSF
Is 1.3 Inches across the flats, which equals 33.02mm
33mm sockets seem to be a thing, as are 3/4Whitworth dockets(although likely harder yo find in the USA than in British Commonwealth countries.
I’m not sure that .5mm would cause much of a fit issue in a docket that size.

32 mm deep impact by Tecton measure out 1.258 inches or 31.9532mm according to my caliper. Measurement errors probably induced by operator.

Sorry. I double checked both my 1-1/4 sockets and neither are as big as I posted. 32.14 was the largest. That was before coffee this morning.

Mine are 32.1 - 32.4mm.
ISO/DIN standard:
32.08 - 32.48mm
Not going to fit a 32.5mm nut

A small 33mm is a better bet, ISO/DIN for 33mm:
33.08 - 33.48mm

I know you won't want to use a 1-1/4" socket. I needed a cheap wrench to modify to work on hydraulic couplers. It was 32mm but I took a 1-1/4" wrench, made it thinner and then had to open it up a little.
