who has paneling in shop?Post pix please.

Ok so I'm thinking about hanging some paneling in my shop.Right now my set up is exposed 1&1/2 white foam board insulation.The way its hung are 1x1's where all of the foamboards meet & in the middles etc screwed to the osb.It keeps my 24x36 ft shop nice&warm.It actually dosnt look thst bad but its easy to poke holes in it by accident&over time I know the white will turn some weird color.
I thought about sheetrock but just thought paneling would be more of the look I want&if not paneling then maybe tounge &groove knotty boards.The 4x8 sheets like that are used for barns.Getting ready to actually sheet my house with it&put a metal roof on&buy a bunch of paneling for my storage rooms so trying to figure which one to get.The knotty boards would have a small amount of strength to hang things opposed to the paneling buy I don't really need to hang anything as I have tons of racks &other forms of storage.Sorry so long.If ya got pictures please post.

I paneled the interior of my shop with 8" shiplap pine hung vertically from the floor to the drywall ceiling. I just finished nailed it onto the 1/2 OSB they used for the SIP walls.

Before nailing it up, I sanded it with 150 grit, applied 2 coats of waterbased poly (sanding in between coats) and just hung it.

Looks pretty good.

I did the inside of my 22 x 30 with 3/8 T111 and left it unpainted. White sheetrock ceiling. Just had to nail the heck out of it since its pine. Works well for me.

This is 1/4" Birch paneling removed from my 1970's built home during a remodel. It has held up well in the shop. On new construction, I would probably sheet rock it.

(Please go easy on comments on wife's outside plants "wintering" in my shop.
I was exceedingly glad to do it for her--cough)

Here is what I did in my clean room. 5/8 t111 stained and varnished before going up. Floor to cieling 5/8 fireboard,under it.

Even the ceiling is paneled in my garage. Pardon the pic from a few months ago. The Bport is in the process of changing colors and Im also currently hanging lights so will have better pics soon.

Nothing trick about the floor,just 2 coats of cure and seal. Can you think simple and easy to repair? I did that before moveing anything in.I did lay a piece of paeling down to rool the mill on,but the lathes came in w/o it,and no scratches or scuffs. Didnt have to acid etch or grind or any of that BS and when it does need a touch up I can roll in a small area and it wont show.

what did you paint the osb with?I've only tryd to paint osb once &it started peeling layers shortly after.

Thanks guys.Looks great.I've thought about pegboard but I think the paneling it t111 is great looking.
