I don't have any photos (it was in my prior home) but the tracks were attached to the ceiling and the opener was simply mounted to the ceiling as well.

Same way it would be on a flat ceiling. Angle brakets run along ceiling, more angle brakets down to opener. Only difference is that the down bracket is longer on one side then the other. Just make sure the opener is level.

and if the hangers are over 2 foot long you need to put angle braces on them also so the do not twist and wiggle when the door is going up and down :thumbup:

Good call. I had to do that but I forgot it in the pic. New pic is updated.

You build a brace system, side to side towards each other, run a brace towards the door from each drop towards the rail. Now the door rail can't move. run a brace to connect the two rails. From the center of that brace that goes from rail to rail you run a brace back towards the door as long as you need for the opener. You then brace that rail back to the ceiling as well. Now you mount your opener on that brace. I used 2x2 steel with holes every two inches for this. Kinda kills the whole cathedral reason but oh well.
