I have had multiple John Deere dealerships tell me that the JD hand tools have such a high price because they are rebranded snap-on that get dropped off by the snap-on truck each week. Does the snap-on tool group in fact manufacture tools for John Deere? If not, who does? They seem to be reasonable quality. I know that snap-on and JD do have some sort of deal because when the John Deere parts manager is booting up it has the snap-on logo on the bottom. What have you guys heard?
