40 yrs of jack repair. Tonage should be in the 4-7 ton range. Lifts 1 side of a forklift to work on tires.

Now with the shop compressor back on track,I now have air, which means i can now put a little color on things. Here's the closest i could get at the supply house with matching the original color. We scanned it and it came back close to the original blue, but i think it will look really nice when finished.Only jack part in prime and ready for paint is the cylinder. We are looking at warm day's (60's) this weekend and i plan on basing and clearing it.

color pic,Check it!

Few more parts blasted, primed today.Spent most of the day regrouping and improving my HF blast cabinet. The time has come to go bigger, better, and less down time.I lost a lot of time today dicken around with that china made box, better than it was,but not great.Last pic you can see i cut most of the thick industrial paint with a 36 flap disc, then final clean up in the cabinet.Base and clear to come tomorrow.

Well it's been a while, but i finally had time to finish her up and post an update. All done except for the grips,i will make new ones after a little more research and trial and error. But for now, good to go.I ended up also having to make new pins for the rear wheels, made them out of some cut down 1/2" bolts.Burned a washer on one end and cut a groove in the other to except a snap ring, identical to the front ones.I'll be picking up a new block of rubber for the pad tomorrow from a local supplier.Finish pics, check um!
