VV is the Springdale, Arkansas plant opened by Easco in 1969 and used by Danaher after they bought Easco in 1990. The plant closed in 2015. The U part of the code is most likely a production run code, but possibly a date code.

Look carefully at the sides of the pins and maybe at other places on the drivehead/moveable square drive part with a magnifying glass to see if there is a tiny "strongarm" symbol
wonder if the drive part could have been made in a different factory than the handle or pin?
"strongarm" symbol was Armstrong Tools but I think that factory as well as Easco/Moore Drop Forge might have been taken over by Danaher and then later perhaps closed

could "made by Danaher" mean made in the factory that used to be Armstrong but was owned by Danaher at the time?

First time I have heard of a Craftsman tool with an Armstrong logo on it. Got any examples to share?

I didn’t see any markings around the anvil area.
I do notice that there is no crossbar hole like the V series.

Look at the side of the pin on the VVJ 1/2" drive #44202 breaker bar with a good magnifier and direct light such as from a flashlight -looks like a tiny strongarm logo to me
I think stuff made for Craftsman was not as well finished as things made to sell under the brand names such as Armstrong or Easco
could it be that Armstrong made only the pin in this thing?

Related but different were the "Craftsman" lawn mower engines made by Tecumseh,I don't think the Tecumseh logo was visible on the outside of the engine but with the flywheel cover off a Tecumseh logo could be seen
"Sears" or "Craftsman" engines made by Briggs & Stratton may have carried visible I.D. as being "by Briggs & Stratton" however

This -VVJ- 1/2" drive bar does have the "hanging hole"
people complained about these things being weak but I think this one has snapped off wheel studs whose lug nuts had been hammered on too hard with air guns
what I think is the strongarm logo is tiny.
