Who made these?

A friend got these from his father. They look European to me.

They were either made by Vacu-Grip, or Snap-on. I am guessing Snap-on and the 60-P is actually 60-R, with a weak letter stamp.

Interesting that they don’t have anything else written on them, and the runish looking date stamp might be a nine?

Don’t know how I missed that thread. I have some SO vacuum grip pliers but their round spots are primitive and shallow compared to the ones here. I didn’t recognize them. Lesser Son points out how the earlier tools had more’Cephalopod-looking’ vacuum forgings’. (A term I am personally admiring his use of in a vintage tool forum!)

My two
