Who made this drill press vise?

I grabbed this one for $5 today. I was wondering if anybody knows who made it. It looks like there used to be a logo, but it was scraped off when somebody used the vise to cut something with a band saw. I'm thinking it MIGHT be a Craftsman logo. Any thoughts?

I'd say Craftsman made by Palmgren for them. (Looks to be the "Long C logo" there, so mid 30's to mid 40's roughly...)

i picked up a stanly one that looks the same aside from the handle for $2 at a yard sale. took it apart and wire brushed it. works great
