It is a homemade box as you mentioned. It appears to use L channel welded to the sides to act as a drawer slide.

Kinda cool....just not sure if it's 150 cool.

I would plunk down $150 in a heartbeat... that's COOL... Would make it a bench grinder base or something.

I bet he wished he used swivel casters on all four corners when he tried to maneuver that.
