Who make the matco, snap-on and mactools hex socket bits?

Snap on zephyr make snap on bits
Vim makes Cornwell bits
Not sure on macs side probably proto

So the gearwrench bits are the same as the matco ones?

As far as I know the Matco branded bits are Armstrong bits. But since apex was formed all hardline Matco stuff is coming from China which is apex gearwrench lines

If you want the bit style hex go with the gold snap on they are the best out there

Mac bits are made by Vim, and the USA bits are the same as Proto.

I use Stanley's, easy lifetime warranty. And ~ $9 per metric or sae set. Not sure who makes them who knows?

If you want a good complete set Cornwell 62 piece is a really nice set for torx and hex that can be had for a decent price

But only up to 10mm or 3/8

I would look at vim impact50 set is nice aswell but 1piece design not bit style

I have those. I also have the Torx set. Never broke a single one. Plus they're lifetime warranty. I'll even tell you I have a set of Impact Torx bits as well, I use the T50 to remove bumpers on the trucks I work on.

I brake my Napa T50 Impact Torx everytime I use it. The VIM T50 is 3/8" drive I use an adaptor and stick it on the same 1/2" gun and have never broken it and I've had it for 4 years.
