As stated in the title, who makes a good black uv light. I want something that will last longer than a summer season. My price range is up to $100 including tax and shipping.

Fluorescents will be more powerful than LEDs, but less portable. I don't know much about this work, but would a flex head like this be helpful?

Be sure to get some goggles if you are going to be staring at this for a while. You can fry your retinas without knowing its happening.

Again, I don't know much about this, but there are different types of UV lights, and you may also want to find out if a certain wavelength is more useful than others. You may want to stick to a light specifically for leak detection rather than a general purpose UV light.

I have a Sunlite Slim in the UV-395, it is the 395 nm wavelength you want for leak detection, it works off of 3 AAA batteries and is 65 lumens. http://powerledlighting.com/LEDUV395Lighting.html. I have had it for 3 years its very handy and works real nice with no yellow glasses needed

I am intrigued by the Fluke now that someone else posted it, its like 20 bucks less and looks like good specs for the money. not just some generic "UV leak detection" light
