Hi all.

Looking for a wrench roll. Have a set of European profile wrenches that won’t fit conventional wrench racks.

It’s a 27 pc 6-32mm Stahlwille set.

Had the Kid's get me a couple Carhartt Canvas tool rolls for Christmas, as they asked what I wanted, that I like.
After I did my own google research that's what I wanted. There's many choices out there and $$$ wise this works for me!

You do. I thought we all made our tool rolls? Real men sew.

lol, I bought a couple yards of heavyweight waxed duck canvas and a new Brother "Strong & Tough" sewing machine just for making wrench rolls for my angle wrenches after finding no one that made any that would fit the size and number of wrenches to my liking. And I've since repaired a few broken belt loops on a few pair of jeans that I previously would have just tossed. I tried my best to get the CFO to do it but she's scared of it. lol

It's a lot of fun! I haven't found waxed duck canvas but I got some awesome canvas at Wally World. Tool rolls, axe covers, tool covers, gun covers. I've rehemmed some pants to get rid of dated cuffs or change length and while I could have it done - it's a great thing to do while the CFO is watching her stories. My wife actually asked for the machine but never once used it to my knowledge. It's just a very entry level Brother but gets through all the canvas, denim and even vinyl I've thrown at it.

I like my bucket boss rolls, but not sure they’d fit wrenches that big. Available at Menards about $15 before inflation. Haven’t priced them lately. Maybe something to check out.

Where’d you get your canvas? Just getting into sewing and the stores near me have nice fabric for household stuff but haven’t had luck finding anything heavy duty.

Mine are from HF. Use them to hold wrenches and other tools for the road kits in my truck and 4 runner
Work fine for mine and very low price

I've never found a tool roll that was any good that wasn't made specifically for the tools in it. Otherwise, the pockets are too big, too small, the wrong number, etc. Making them yourself lets you have exactly what you need, and the tools you have. (my metric wrench roll has an extra 10 in it, for instance.)

After also striking out at all upholstery stores local to me I bought off Amazon but it's apparently no longer available from that seller. :/

I bought two yards for $26 a yard shipped and it came on a roll. At the time there were only a few other sellers on Amazon and from their reviews it seemed most like to ship it flat and folded which puts creases in the wax. I believe they can be gotten out with a warm iron or hair dryer/heat gun but I didn't want to deal with that. I did find other sellers of the same material from online upholstery stores that shipped on the roll but they tended to be a little more costly once shipping was figured in, but as I recall not by all that much.

I used this video as a rough guideline (and it's from Sailrite, one of the companies that also had the waxed canvas) ...
