Does the replacement have to be fixed? There are many 20 -150 ft lb wrenches out there. The CDi or the Similar Snap on is good or the Precision. The KD/ Gearwrench is now made in China but was a good wrench sold under many brand names, including Matco,SK, Husky, ATD and others.Looking for an alternative to OTC 5776-5 Fixed 140lb torque wrench.

I am looking for fixed 130 or 140. It is going in a road service kit and I know the service guys won't remember to turn and adjustable to 0 when done and have the chance of over torq by setting it up in the dark and not seeking the numbers correctly.

Don't know who make OTC's, but you can get preset wrenches from industrial suppliers. You could look at the Armstrong 64-236. SnapOn makes some, but they're gonna be salty.

Thank, that armstrong needs to be set with torque tester.
I ordered the last two on amazon, 1 came in OK and they send a pair of snap ring pliers for the second.

It won't fix your second problem but a split beam clicker like the ones from Precision do not have to be slacked off to maintain accuracyI am looking for fixed 130 or 140. Haven't seen much fixed one these days but an adjustable split beam from Precision Instruments where you don't need to store it with the torque at zero.
