Unfortunately, it appears Snap On is whoring out its name for generic brand x type stuff. I believe Bosch is doing the same. I see Snap On branded products at Sam's Club, and it looks like typical generic ****.

I cannot speak directly about the PW posted up above. So, sorry, no help to the OP on this one. Just beware. Check carefully for coo.

It is most likely that the Snap-On pressure washer at Menards isn't even made by or even sold by Snap-On. A manufacturer simply licensed the Snap-On name to use on their pressure washer. Support would not come from Snap-On directly, but rather from the manufacturer.

A few years ago I bought one at christmas time for like $79. I think it was a 1600psi unit. I would not consider it a SO brand, even though is says SO on it.

My SO dealer saw it and just kind of laughed that he would have a few weeks of telling people it is not anything to do with them.

Like I said I own one and it is what it is. It is nothing fancy and it does spray water at a higher pressure that the garden hose would.

Truthfully I own a couple of gas powered units that I would choose over it any day. It is nice and light and you can just drag it out and use it when needed. It mostly gets used when the gas units are winterized and need to used something between late fall and early spring.

I consider it just another tool. Sort of like owning two or three pairs of pliers or screwdrivers. You just kind of have to think of a need for each one and how you use it.

I know, old thread. Amazon reviews gives it 2.2 out of 5 stars, not good. I have been noticing SO (Snap-on) has been allowing their name to be placed on a lot of questionable items. I'll just stick with their hand tools, you cant go wrong there.
