Who makes these 2 toolboxes? (See Pictures)

Hello all, I have acquired 2 rolling toolboxes, both which need repair/refurbishment, and I cannot determine who made them. Both of the toolboxes will need some new drawer slides, and perhaps handles, but since I don't know who manufactured the toolboxes, I don't even know where to look for parts to fix them up. There are no nameplates or model numbers anywhere which makes it very hard for me to know who made each toolbox. Perhaps one or both of the toolboxes are some generic brand?? Hoping that some of the folks here can review the attached pictures & might know who made one or both of the toolboxes and let me know, and if no-one knows who made the toolboxes, then, is there a place to get generic or universal toolbox parts? Also, does anyone know where I can find some help (directions, videos, links, etc.) to help in the removal/disassembly/repair/cleaning/refurbishment/replacement(if needed)/and reinstallation of the drawer slides? I have no clues on the black one. However, I believe the red one to be an old Husky model that was made by beach in Canada. I'm not sure if repair parts are still available. If you pull one of the smaller drawers all the way out, it should expose a small plastic lever on the drawer slide. push down on one side while pulling up on the opposite side to release the drawer. Another similar box from the 1980's would be the waterloo traxx series. Check you tube for box restoration videos. Good luck in your quest.

Thanks 'Fedwrench' ! I don't know how old the red one is (or the black one for that matter) but on the red one it looks like a prior owner tried to do a homemade repair on one of the drawer slides. I see a short bolt & nut inside the drawer. My guess is they couldn't get or find a drawer slide for it, and then did their best to get the drawer to open/close again. Do you, or anyone here know of anyplace to get parts for old toolboxes?

Nope but, search Husky tool box parts and waterloo tool box parts online and see what comes up. There should be a make or model number stamped either on the back of the red box or inside one of the drawers. Tool box parts are hard to come by when a box has been discontinued. Cornwell stopped supporting my 60 inch wide unit years ago.

Some of the lower end Mac boxes (Economizer line for sure) in the 1990's were made by Beech.

The red one could possibly be a MAC, Waterloo, Blackhawk or HOMAK.

To me, the pull handle on the side looks more like something HOMAK utilized.

Were they really made by Beech ? When I was trying to buy a side box for my red Husky 41" I called Stanley Tool in CT. They gave me a phone number for a factory in Smith Falls ON that was making Husky, MAC, Proto and Beech boxes. I was able to get the side box labeled Beech through Aukland Grainger, shipped to a Granger in the US. I was under the impression the factory made boxes for many brands.

I can't find or see any name or serial numbers on either toolbox with the exception of a number on the drawer slides on the RED toolbox On the drawer slides on the red toolbox they have the number: 101107A and 101107B, with the difference being one is for the slide on the right and the other the left side slide. Other than that, I can't find anything. At this point, I would just like to figure out if i can replace all the old slides with new full-extension slides that will fit. Of course, I have to figure out how to remove the old slides first.

I hate that so many manufacturers do not properly label their products. I've even seen it with better products that I would sure be proud to have my name on. Having their name not only makes parts easier but many people will seek them out when they need newer or bigger. Labels are not very expensive.

I used to have the red box. It was the husky box that is made by beach. They made the same box for MAC. I needed slides only because of the detents. I reached out to MAC and with pictures they confirmed that it is their MB4290C. They also said that they had slides available with parts number 046353 (Left) and 046354 (right). This was in 2015 so I don’t know if they are available anymore. Those numbers might cross over to another option. I loved my box, but just outgrew it. Good luck!
