Does anybody know who makes these torque wrenches for park tool? I was thinking CDI since they make for a lot of larger names but couldn’t find anything that looked like them.

Don't know and don't care but I can say that they are using the British Nobar setting window which is the best conventional setting window for click type torque wrenches. Instead of having a silver on silver impossible to read scale Nobar has a far better method. Etorq does the same thing and I really like their stuff when I want a clicker rather than a digital torque wrench which is what I normally use. In many cases clickers are just faster, I've never seen a NHRA team rebuild stuff in the pits between rounds with a digital torque wrench, and you can always hear and feel the click rather than having to read a digital display.

I thought it was just me thinking that silver on silver is atrocious.

I have used a black permanent marker like a Sharpie to highlight the numbers after using a degreaser/solvent. Still had to renew the black once or twice as time went on.

At low ranges, my 1/4" drive click is practically inaudible. I turn it extra slow to feel for it.
