That lift is manufactured by one of Snap-On's wholly owned subsidiaries called Wheeltronics and it's located in Mississauga, Ontario. They aren't bad lifts, but $2700.00 for a used one is too much. Maybe $1500 if it's in perfect condition. Expect a lot of flex in the columns and arms if you get over 50% of the lift capacity.
The main problem that I've seen with Snap-On lifts is that getting parts for them is difficult in the best of circumstances. If you call their customer service in Arkansas, most likely, the person you're talking to has no idea what a lift is or that they even sell them, much less where they find a parts breakdown. They make great tools, but when it comes to equipment, Snap On is usually overpriced and lacking the quality you would expect.
