The maintenance team at work is setting up a new machine in and left this allen driver out. I really like the way it feels. Does anyone know who makes it? There's no name/logo on it.

I don't know who makes that specific one, but try browsing the following thread. That same handle style is used by several different companies. Some are good quality, some are average quality. Most versions are Chinese made and they come in various different color combinations.

They might not be easy to source (and I am not sure of the COO), but Proxxon might be your best bet for that handle style in a high quality driver. It looks like they only make them in metric though.

Thanks for the links. A lot of them look close. Im sure they are of good quality from a reputable manufacturer. They look and quality, plus the only thing Chinese in this building is the bar stock. Every hand tool I've seen sense I started working here is is U.S. or German made.

I'll probably have to find out who's working on this machine and see if he knows.

I'm not sure of that exact driver but Bondhus makes some really good hex screwdrivers in a variety of options: straight, ball end, pro-hold (non-magnetic screw holding tip), ball with prohold, etc. I really enjoy my sets of SAE/metric ball end screwdrivers from them. When they don't fit a screw, I have stubby L-shaped wrenches and socket-based hex keys. Between the three options, access is never an issue. The screwdriver format is my preferred method when given options between the three.
