Burger,

If I were you, and I needed tool storage, I'd be all over those boxes...right now! Good price and great vintage boxes. Those boxes have been identified before on one or more of the older box threads. You can research the OEM after you have them in your garage.

Plan to take care of the rust and give everything a good cleaning. Maybe re-polish the handles, oil the hinges and remove the stickers. Possible new paint?

For sure...the bottom looks to be in bad shape with the rust and all...probably looking at repainting it then. Engine enamel or regular rattlecan? I'm leaning towards the enamel myself.

Sorry you missed out. That's a pet peeve of mine...people who don't pull the listing after something is sold. If it's the same day, okay...if it's a week later I want to strangle them!

BK,

Sorry you missed this. That's the way these things go sometimes. But, I hope you take an important lesson from this. When you see a deal like this, you've got to move with lighening speed.

1) know what you want,
2) have cash ready,
3) have truck gassed up,
4) make phone contact with seller, and
5) get moving!!!!
