I am having a hard time finding any 3/8 reversible air drills that are US made, only one SO has is the BluePoint which is China made.

Most of the Craftsman air tools I see are clones of "Florida Pneumatic" designs.

I would wager they are sourced from the same overseas plants as what Florida Pneumatic gets theirs from.

Neither Sear or Napa would be made by IR. Did someone tell you that your Napa was made by IR?

Don't worry about it, I was just curious. Glad the tool is working out for you regardless.

Considering that less than 3 years ago Sears was selling that right angle C'man drill for $104 and IR was listing the near same IR branded drill for $109 in the same Sears catalog, I wanna say that IR was making it at that time back then.

Fast forward to today , it's all blurred (but COO is usally China, even back then), but I wanna say it is a good IR clone or IR. The FP, CP supplier or anyone else could be making them now for Sears.

Sears has gone all rogue with suppliers I find these days though. Trust no one. Believe nothing. LOLOL.

So who does IR make things for?

I have IR made but MAC stamped air tools.

I'm not sure specifically which air ratchet it is, But I know there is a Craftsman that is a dead-ringer for the Sunex Sx3830. A while back they were going for around $50 each. Now over a $100. A mechanic friend of mine and I were comparing them.

I've heard good things about Sunex.

Are you wanting a right angle drill with a chuck? Because if you need a right angle drill, you're probably are having clearance issues. Drill chucks take up space. What you can do is go with a right angle drill that has a threaded collar and all you do is use threaded drill bits.
