Just a heads up for anyone who gets supplies at Wholesale Tool, they are closing here. They have some things listed on craigslist under 601 E. Hanna there doesn't seem to be any deals though. Pallet rack, warehouse ladder, plastic bins etc.

The online store is still available for all Indianapolis customers. It's http://www.wttool.com.
Wholesale Tool also still has open locations in Michigan, Oklahoma and North Carolina.

I just learned that they went out of business in Indy, so sad as I too purchased quite a few tools and supplies from them over the years. Their website is not as good as McMaster Carr, or Grainger, so I doubt I will make any purchased from them in the future. With me no longer buying Craftsman, its becoming tougher and tougher to find brick and mortar tool stores..

...and I forgot to say that after I stopped at Wholesale Tools' former location in Indy, I went to Harbor Freight nearby that location, and it was absolutely hopping with customers. I didn't buy anything as I typically cannot stand the poor quality of tools they sell.

I never knew they existed in Indy...

Obviously their advertisements never reached all the right people. I've bought stuff on their website before, and would have probably been a good customer.

Gotta say the same thing... I live in Indy and never knew this place existed until now. Too bad too, as looking at the website there are some things I would have purchased locally. Oh well...

Their store was very "Rural King" like, rough and typical of a repurposed large retail store, but was a place I came 1-2x per month...and I would usually leave with something even if I didn't absolutely need it. It is sad they have gone, I need some latex/nitrile disposable gloves, and will probably buy them online from McMaster Carr or someone like that. Sad, I would have loved to go there today.. :)
