I'm in Maine we have 6 months of snow and salt and gravel roads. I've never seen a PVF coated line fail.
You talking about the plier type? They work OK. Longer the tool the better. A cheap effective trick is to roll the line between two pieces of sturdy plywood. Straight as an arrow.Does anyone have a budget straightener? The only one I've looked at is Eastwood but I don't want to spend that much
