Who is using the MAXLITE LED ready housing best light fixture from the first sticky thread?

I have a 24x27 garage, looking for pictures of how many and light output as well as if your happy with them?

Lots of options now including wrap housings and 0-10v dimming options on some fixtures

Deciding what way to go

Thanks

I have a 21x28 (only 28 deep on one side) w/ 13' ceilings. I went with 14 fixtures (28 bulbs- 4000k, 18w, 2520 lumens).

I am halfway through putting up 24 of them in a 30x50 barn with 10ft ceiling. I am putting 4 rows of 6. So far very happy. I originally tried 4000K bulbs, but ended up going with 5000K.

This is a 3 car garage, 29' deep, about 9.5' ceiling with a 4x4 grid of those lights. I think it is a perfect amount of lights. Anyone who saw it thought I was crazy before we had power to them, now since they're lit up they agree: it is perfect.

Excuse the mess.

I was thinking 4000k bulbs; what made you change to 5000k. Mine is attached garage if that makes any diff.

I have a feeling you meant to quote HeavyD1, but it just so happens I went with 5000K as well. Those in the photos are 20W VersaT8 5000K with the frosted lens. I don't have much logic behind my decision for 5000K vs 4000K, I just prefer a more true white light for garage tasks. Other lighting around the house is typically 3500K. The decorative lights flanking the garage doors are even warmer than that for comparison, they have some LED filament style bulbs that are pretty warm colored.

Your correct, sorry error on my end working through my phone on the quote button.

Looks good with 5000k, most of my interior lights inside home are 2700k, figured the 4000k would be a happy middle of road.

Garage is used for one car being stored inside. Other bay is for “stuff”/ tools etc. also a hang out place on weekends.

My hope is the lighting is not “too much” for a hangout spot ...if that makes sense

I thought the 4000K looked too yellow and made the shop seem dim to me. You can see the difference in the picture, bulb on the right is 5000K, one on the left is 4000K. Can't see it in the bulbs, but you can tell on the surrounding ceiling. I liked the 5000K better.

My garage is roughly 36' wide by 26' deep. I say roughly because there's an extra 3' wide 16' deep bumpout on the front of the house. For the main footprint i went 5 lights wide and 3 lights deep. I also have 3 more perpendicular to the rest to light up workbenches on the back wall. I'll try to remember to get pictures tomorrow. I was worried it wouldn't be enough light but the 3 perpendicular ones on the back wall make it enough.
