Is there some kind of total size limit of attachments that I may have hit? I haven't been able to upload attachments for a couple days now.

I had the same sort of problem. I finally saw that HTML code was turned off on part of the forum. If you were attaching using HTML code that is probably your issue.

Most forums would NOT have HTML coding enabled. Most pics are

HTML on in General Garage and General Tool. Off everywhere else. No biggie just don't see why it's on in part and off in part.

So how do you attach images through the attachment feature in the posts without using HTML?

post using the "go advanced" button, then click the "manage attachments' button. Browse to the pic you want to attach and click upload

Thank you. I've been doing exactly that for years, but now the popup is going to a blank screen or a page not found screen. Since it worked for you just now, I know it's just me having this problem.

Hopefully someone of authority here can look into my account to see if it is misconfigured.

Try resetting browser, or just to be sure try doing it from an iPad or another PC. If ot works there you know its a local issue. I would bet its your browser thats jacked up and you just need to clear temp files and possibly do a full reset to default on it.

I assume you are running IE 8?

I've been having the same issue as well. I keep getting this message whenever I attempt to upload an attachment:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 9831921 bytes) in /home/garagejo/public_html/forum/includes/class_image.php on line 2401

Same thing now..

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 3635489 bytes) in /home/garagejo/public_html/forum/includes/class_image.php on line 2401

I wonder if they either lowered the maximum allowed storage per user with the server move or I just got lucky.

I figured maybe it was that and so I went through all of my past/previous attachments and deleted a bunch of stuff from several years ago and duplicate pictures...figuring that might free me up a bit, but to no avail. still keep getting the fatal error message.

Just because they were removed from the post does not mean they were deleted from the server.

I'm hoping a mod who knows about this can provide us with some information.
