Im gonna assume that once again the garage journal trolls started in but why remove the entire thread? Why not deal appropriately with the problem people?

There was lot of good information that could have been referenced later, now its gone.

Frankly, I don’t like to spend the time to moderate a thread on firearms... too much politics and ******** to weed through... this is, after all, a forum for tools and work shops and what not. I’m sure there are plenty of other forums out there for you to talk about guns and other stuff. It’s fine here, but on a short leash.

Yep, there always has to be one or two that want to turn a really decent conversation about firearms into a political fistfest and instead of letting live and moving on, they have to try to shut it down with their opinions. Being an avid shooter, it really angers me watching a few people ruin it for everyone else, but then again, maybe I shouldn't be surprised...

And I don't blame Ryan at all... it's annoying and a total hemmorhoid, all because a few people have to try to start a fight.

Even though I'm a gun owner myself, I try to stay away from most of the threads about guns on GJ. They always end badly. Mods like Ryan, Eric and others have tried in the past to give warnings that a thread is going off the rails, but people just don't get it. They actually give more latitude than we probably deserve.

Coljar, I'm at the point of issuing bans for those that can't help themselves. I've said it a few times, enough is enough.
