Why do vises cause OCD?

I have a large 8" Snap-On Machinists vise which is essential a big red Wilton, beautiful vise you could grip a Pennsylvania class super-dreadnought in. I also have a beautiful Wilton 3 1/2 inch vise for smaller needs. Why on earth do I keep looking at them with drooling temptation on Craigslist? Why do I even read posts about 75th anniversary deals? Surely there is a scientific name for this specific vise vice. I think my IQ drops 50% everytime I see a good deal on an old used vise. Not sure this is a forum so much as it is a support group for addicts.

Hmm, i dont know about ocd, but the way you describe it...its a bit more ****** than anything
