seems like about every other day my computer will just stop functioning when accessing this site. Did it again late last night. Everything will be going along fine and then it just gets ultra slow (to the point of not responding). So I go to some other siites and it is real fast as usual, come back and no response or very very slow.

When it does this, even when I google GJ and click on it, it just seems to stop working. I don't get it, it's just here, nowhere else.

Try a different browser; sometimes its caused by issues with particular things the browser is using here, and not other sites.

Update network card to newest driver.

Often browser add ons, acellerators. cause issues, I disable all but Java

Possible a setting on the router Max transmission unit, MTU, is not correct. Download, run TCP Optimiser

http://www.speedguide.net/downloads.php

In the local area connection, adapter properties, try disabling flow control

In the adapter properties, uncheck IPv6, you do not use it, I disable QoS also.

reboot, re-install Internet explorer or firefox or chrome, then re-install notepad and reboot again. oh, and re-install your anti-virus while you're at it, perhaps twice or try installing two different anti-virus programs. oh, and reboot again. put up a picture of bill gates smiling at you and say your prayers, then reboot again. if none of that works, re-install windows, perhaps upgrade to windows 8. if all else fails, well, buy yourself a new computer with pre-installed everything.

oh, and if you're an Apple/Mac user, well... no comment, i don't want to piss off any fanatical religious extremist by distracting them from their Steve Jobs worship twice a day.

It could also be one of the Javascript gone haywire. Try to close all instances of the browser then reload...
