Why doesn't this forum have an Off Topic section?

+1 I free parking, but certain topics such as politics are verboten anywhere here. There are plenty of other forums to discuss politics, we don't need to do it here.

That would be a solid addition IMO.

Oops.... *An Off Topic section...

Pretty sure I had a mild stroke there.

Whatever you do, Don't call someone an idiot even if they are one. The mods, as well as some members here are VERY thin skinned here. It WILL get you an infraction notice.

That should generally apply to life outside of this forum. :dunno:

Generally yes, but some people need to hear it!:lol_hitti

Jim

But that will burst someone's bubble and that is naughty!! Everyone please just be mediocre so everyone feels good about themselves. I am sick of seeing quality work and nice shops which don't necessarily go hand in hand. No sense in striving for better when good enough will do.(Sarcasm in case you cannot tell)

Chris

That is what Free Parking is for along as it is relatively garage related. Just remember to keep the politics and religion out.

I wouldn't say the Mods are VERY thin skinned, I'd say they are merely enforcing the rules of the forum.

Plenty of other places on the net for that type of thing.

What do you think Free Parking is?

Free Parking has become more of a Social room, like the place you go in the garage to chat with your mates and have a beer.

This topic has been relocated.

Name calling and bullying I do not tolerate any where be it here on the forum or in the street. Three Strikes and you get banned. Admin has told all Mods not to tolerate any drama.

I may have a social area now but before it was just a couple of old milk crates and a cushion or towel to sit on or even the work bench if it had room ;).

The addition of a few more sub-forums would be very helpful. One for truck brands and one for HF with posts contained to each sub-forum, for example, would stop some of the bickering.
