Mask the facts with numbers? Those are the facts. I was looking for them because I knew what they really were but couldn't find them - his Google skills are good.
No matter how much you HATE Chinese goods you can't really go down this road. I could equally say that we should shut down every single American university because suicides occur there on a regular basis.

If my only other option was 30 cents an hour or less or nothing then yes - I would. That is the reality there.

In the US? No. In some other country where the cost of living is very low, it's possible.

Would you and your children gladly work for $10-$15 an hour? Now what if that job is in England or Australia? or even Alaska where milk can be over $10 a quart?

Until everyplace on earth has the same cost of living, your argument is useless. Same goes for work ethic. North America is full of people that want middle class wages, a 40 hour or less work week, lots of holidays, etc.. Nobody wants to work there way up to get that.
