I'm not all that well off, and the tool that gets the job done is the right tool for the job, in my opinion.
With that said, if it's a tool I'm expecting to lean on again and again (ratchets, sockets, and wrenches in particular), I'll look for CoO that has a history of quality, with a good warranty, from a manufacturer with a history of quality...
My wrenches typically come out where I'm concerned about breaking a socket/ratchet, so I ordered Tekton and haven't looked back since. They're amazing for the price, have dealt with plenty of heavy use, and carry awesome customer service and a hell of a good warranty. If they were available in brick & mortar stores, I'd have a ton more Tekton, right now it's just wrenches and a ratchet. For ~$40, Tekton wins my dollar.
