Why no Williams BMD-621?

Just curious if anyone knows why Williams doesn't make a 3/8" drive 6 pt chrome deep socket in 21mm? Looking at the catalog, this size is simply omitted.

They have every other size in 3/8 inch drive from 6mm to 25mm, but no 21mm.

You can get a 6pt shallow or deep impact in 21, but not a chrome deep. Just curious if anyone had any insight as to why that may be?

It just seems an odd size to omit, particularly since they sell 22 - 25 mm.

I found this odd as well, I almost thought I lost a socket the first time I noticed.

I've noticed that, too, and I have Williams USA vs SO sets, some as far back as 1980's vintage. I regularly use 21mm deep; call me old but I spin on lug nuts with a 3/8 SO speeder handle, then torque wrench.

I just filled with a Blue Point 21mm deep back when. Now, Tekton has a deep 21mm, too. I'm very impressed with the 1/2 tektons I bought to replace my limited-size Williams USA 1/2 sets.

I ended up buying a Snap On 21mm to fill the void. It seems odd that they do not make one. Like someone said earlier, I wonder if they were being warrantied too often due to usage on lug nuts.

21mm is not a size that's used on standard fasteners here in Europe, but it is called the spark plug socket instead. Maybe Williams advertises it that way too?

Seems the 13/16" should be the SAE equivelant. I wonder if the difference is so small that some brands just use the same hole broach for both and just stamp them differently? The cheap ones surely do, but I'd not expect it from Williams. 13/16" should be just a smidge smaller than 21mm.
