Why not more love for Ballistix?

I read how wonderful Ballistix is. Yet it doesn’t often get recommended. Why? I see way more epoxy and polyurea suggestions than Ballistix.

Again, why?

BallistiX is a fairly new coating, particularly in the DIY world of concrete coatings and sealers. Like most new products, it takes a while for the word to get out and people to try it. It was the same way for single-part polyurea, which is one of the most popular DIY coatings now.

I'm seriously considering the BallistX SC over stain for our new house 500 sq ft garage floor. The only thing that concerns me is correctly spraying a mere half gallon of it over that size area.

Perhaps one reason for not more love is lack of support?

I emailed both Ballistix and Armorpoxy asking about using SC over concrete stain and neither replied…

Ballistix is a new offering to the field, we are having superb results with it, especially consdiring the ease of application and the price point, and the incredible resistance to automotive fulids.
