I like this forum, seldom log in and post. Took a break for a while but now all the click bait and pop up ads are killing me, as if my 'puter isn't slow enough already. i understand the need for revenue but its excessive. Not a good way to want to come back. Maybe i'm not alone.

I don't see any pop-ups/click bait. I wonder if you have malware on your computer? I am using a Chromebook as my daily use computer -- less prone to malware than Windows.

This is why I run privoxy AND uBlock origin. I never see the internet in its full glory... fortunately.
And unfortunately, it doesn't matter what site you're on: nobody actually screens. I mean, when you see THIS MOM HAS FOUND THE ANTI AGING SECRET on the NYtimes, you know there's a problem somewhere.

Check the remember me box next time you logon. If you do any thing to your computer like run an anti virus program you may find you need to logon yet again and them make sure you tick that remember me box and you will be OK.

This I can confirm as my anti virus program logs me out at least once a week.
