Why that noise when I turn on lights

Every time I turn something on in my garage I here it through my radio as a crackling sound. Then everything is fine.

I ran Three 6 wires and a 10 wire from my house to the garage over 50 feet underground in PVC. Used the 10 as a ground wire.

Maybe I need to bury a ground at the garage?

Opinions?

Thanks

Pat

If you have a sub panel in the garage you need ground rods with a grounding conductor. The ground wire to the house is an equipment ground and is not the same as a grounding electrode conductor. But that is not likely the problem with your radio.

You say lights in the title then in the question you say everything you turn on, which is it? If florescent lights then your hearing the start circuit. If your running incandescent lights then loose connection. If something else then be specific. If everything then turn the radio off.
