Why would you close a thread that is not political ?

Why would you close a thread that is not political except one person that doesn't like it and brings his deranged political comment into it and it gets locked. ?

The worse, the person that accusation of the thread is political motivated without even any proof, while everyone is being an adult or adult children in that thread, no one else is complaining except that one person. The worse, Mods close the thread, without banning the person who bough his deranged political view into the conversation.

Not that I am judging , but I don't agree with appeasing some D-bag that cries just because he doesn't like the conversation or the OP.

You might see if you can delete this thread. Criticism of moderator actions on political threads can sometimes result in being banned yourself.

Are there not rules somewhere that out line when a thread is closed or even deleted?

I know things like personal insults, obsenities and spammers trying to sell stuff get deleted.

Why would I want to delete the thread, I am the OP, posted a thread for fun and hearing people's thoughts. I didn't dish any insults to the Mods or political views. No one else did, until some D-bag just don't like the topic and impose his deranged political view on to it and criticize the mods. Mods locked the thread to appease instead of just deleting is comments. ... which is why I asked in this post the logic in this action.

I’m as it a free parking post? If so… sometimes we don’t have time to moderate those posts so we just delete the whole thread. Free parking is annoying… and takes up too much moderator time.

All good man, I have my laughs on that post already... and do understand it is hard to keep a forum neat and clean when the world is full of knuckle heads. This post my subtle message to that chronic knuckle head (not the mods) that love to make things political. must be my looks, I attract lots and lots of knuckle heads.
