Snap-on stuff on ebay never ceases to amaze me. Over half the stuff on there in good or new shape gets sold for more than list on the SO website, which just so happens to offer free shipping. Apparently people just get caught up in the bidding.

It's possible the high bidder lives in a remote area without easy access to a Snap-on dealer.

My dealer gave me four for free last week. He ordered them for Christmas and they came in late. Of course I have already spent 1500 with him this year.

You got me, I have been given so many of these type screwdrivers from dealers. They are great for throw away tools but there is now way I would pay 31.00 for them.

More threads have been written about idiots on ebay. Two people want it with egos anything goes. First auction dad ever took me to his first lesson was when to SIT on your hands.

My Snap on dealer returned the first batch he received because the magnetic end did not work. That is probably the batch on eBay. He received a new batch and is giving them out freely.

I love the sellers on ebay that throw one of those screwdrivers in the auction...just so they can legitimately list SO in their auctions title!
