Wi-Fi thermostat on big maxx nest?

So I have many other best thermostats in the house and figured I would get one to match for the garage, I purchased a c wire adapter plug to get around that and planned on using my new nest 3rd gen on it but then I looked at the ones in the house and the lowest they will go is 50?! Does anyone know anyway around this or do they recommend a different Wi-Fi thermostat that I can keep lower when I’m at work ect? Thanks

What if you turned the Nest off when not in the garage? There is a safety temperature that lets you set it much lower - down to 35 (default is 40).

Eco Temperatures also goes down to 40, so when the motion sensor hasn't detected you in some time it will drop down to that level.
