I bought my wife a Kitchen aid blender for Xmas one year. She loved it! She likes to bake...It's like her buying me some high end tools.

Rather than starting a new collection I simply granted access to the "tool continuum."
Usually she puts thing back where she found them which is more than I can say for myself.

My wife recently asked me to put together a toolset for her to use around the house.

I figured that if I feel I’m entitled to spend OUR money on nice tools for myself, she deserves nice tools as well.

This being said, I’ve been instructing her on proper use and care of said tools.

She has been very happy and receptive so far.

Last week i purchased her the six piece Wera screwdriver set (334/6 with the plastic holding rack). To be honest I’ve been curious about those screwdrivers for a while and I’m kind of killing two birds with one stone.

My next purchases for her will be a Trusco toolbox in a colour she likes and a pair of Snap-On needle nose pliers with the pink grips (I know it seems extravagant, but with the relatively light use they will get coupled with the fact she is a very responsible and conscientious person I expect them to last her a lifetime. Worth the $70).

After that a set of decent precision screw drivers, probably the PB Swiss 3-in-1 driver. I have it and it works well with everything from sunglasses on up to small electronics.

When the toolbox arrives and is full of a decent collection of stuff I’ll post a picture.
