Hello! If my wife finds I've joined another forum (besides Autopia, Ridgelineownersclub and ekartingnews) she'll kill me...so let's just keep this our little secret, k?
I'll getting ready to start on a new garage / workshop area for my karts. I bought an older building a few months ago, and one of the areas isn't really a 'rentable' space. It happens to be off the garage, so I'm putting in a workshop for my karts so I can back into the garage and unload. Last year, I worked on them in our (unfinished) basement, which wasn't fun. I have a garage at the track (photos below), but need a place to mess around in the winter. The phots are from last year. This year I added a bunch of stuff (can racks / parts washer, etc.).
I've got most of the layout for the new workshop planned, but may need some ideas / suggestions on things so I thought I'd join up so I don't make any huge mistakes. I've spent the last two weeks scraping up old linoleum (real lino - not vinyl) and that was a huge headache. That was step one. Next up is paint. I'll post up some photos once I make some progress.
