I'm looking for a wifi enabled t-stat that has a low set point (under 40 degrees F) for my garage. Any suggestions?
Make sure your heat exchanger is suitable for low temperature maintenance type of operation, though.
Many low priced hanging heater installation instructions specifically warn the user that the unit is not suitable for freeze protection and the minimum set point is 50 degrees. Low temperature operation allows corrosion to damage the heat exchanger.
Thank you for posting. Using CT50 model?I had this same problem this is the ONLY one I found with low set temps. No big company wants the responsibly of having a thermostat that allows set point that close to freezing. I will have to check but I think mine goes to 35. It works great

x2Thanks. If I get 10 years out of a $400 unit heater I'll be pleased.
Wifi is required for this purpose.
