This thread gave me some serious buyers remorse. Just in the sense that I didn't buy more! Oh well, got some stuff for me and a few EDS items for the wife. Thanks for posting!

do you have the 'master set' (50 pc)? i'm wondering if it fits in two of those tool rolls. i'm using non-wiha rolls for my set which i'll post about soon.

I bought smaller sets over many years.

50 wouldn't fit well in the 2 rolls. The rolls have 9 narrow pockets and 1 wide pocket. I think 12 per roll is probably ideal but you could cram a few more.

Also, it has the same size limitation as the older roll. It's not tall enough to fit long drivers. Even a 3.5mm x 60mm slotted pushes the cover up about 1/4 inch. Anything longer wouldn't really fit.

I think the master set comes with a nice aluminum rack for storage. But the rolls can be handy for portable sets.

i don't have any other tool brand clothing, but i'm happy to take pics of the wiha swag. lol

Haha!

i know people rave about the softfinish driver handle with centrofix, but i'm wondering how the bit holder is (https://www.kctoolco.com/wiha-71480-centrofix-1-4-quick-release-bit-holder/)

i've got a rapidaptor bit holder i like. should've grabbed the centrofix equivalent just for kicks.

I don't have it but the mechanism is the same so it should be good. I guess it depends what power tool you're using but I'd likely just use a 2" power bit directly. They do make one for 1" insert bits that would be more useful for me but I haven't tried it. IIRC it's called the "clik fix" or something like that.

haha, i've read several of your high quality posts about them (including this one), and that's part of why i want those damn swissgrips so bad. thanks for taking those pics.

i very rarely strike screwdrivers anyways, but i just enjoy the added beefiness of the heavy duty variants with caps.

You're very welcome.

Thank You

On behalf of all employees of Wiha USA & Wiha Canada, I would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU for your participation in our “50K” promotion for achieving 50,000+ followers on Instagram.

The 4-day promotion was designed to help keep our Distribution Center working through the slowdown caused by the Coronavirus. The goal of the promotion was to try and get orders back to pre Covid-19 levels and keep the team working. To our surprise, what occurred was an increase of orders by over 900%! The success of the promotion will allow us to keep our entire team working their scheduled hours, plus we will now be adding some overtime.

Please understand that the increase in volume along with the staggered flex shifts we are working to minimize our employees’ risk of exposure to the Coronavirus will delay the shipping of your order. We are striving to ship all internet orders in the next 10 business days.

Expect a follow up email once we start picking and packing your order. Larger orders may take longer due to assembly of sets. Once your order ships you will then receive an email with a tracking number.

I apologize for the inconvenience. Your order is genuinely appreciated. Our employees are proud to have customers like you.

Thanks again and stay safe,

Patrick Di Perno

Did you guys get order confirmation emails or even a # when completing the order?

My browser seemed to act up and didn't 100% place the order but I did get a charge on my credit card. No confirmation email though just an email for the newsletter

I diddn't get an order confirmation or order number either. Everytime I clicked "complete order" there was an error message that kept popping up. It did this several times and I finally went back to my cart to start over, but everything I had in it was gone. I assumed they got my order because I got a Thank You message today.

Thanks to the OP for posting this awesome deal.

I guess I just don't see what was worth buying? Insulated screwdrivers might have been the only thing I would have "needed", but everything else was made in Vietnam or something it seemed, and not really a "buy American" item.

I'll stick with my cheapo Made in USA Craftsman screwdrivers and hit the breakers when working on wiring...

Maybe just edit the original post in big bold letters so no one reads it with false hope?:headscrat

not possible to edit titles. you could edit the OP, and put a notice above the post.

It is best practice to put the expiration date in the title:

Wiha 50% off $50+, exp. 4/18 11:59pm CST
