Hi there,

I'm looking to buy some new Wiha bits, but I'm a bit lost as to which type of their bits I should purchase. There are many different types:
http://www.wiha.com/en/produkte/bits.html

  • Maxxtor
  • Durabit
  • Diamant-Torsion
  • Tin-torsion
  • Zot-Torsion
  • Hot-Torsion
  • Inkra
  • RVS
  • Standard
I'm not really sure about the differences between these series and the price differences sometimes don't seem to make sense. For example the ZOT bits, who are meant for 'tough screwing conditions', are cheaper than the HOT for 'soft screwing conditions' :dunno:

I usually use my bits in a small ratchet, bitdriver, torque wrench and occasionally in an impact driver. Any idea which line makes the most sense for mu situation?

Thanks!!

The Maxtor bits are for impact use, the zot bits for driving screws into metal, the hot bits for driving screws into wood.
