Thanks! Their socket sets look interesting, KC Tools shows COO Taiwan. I wish they would package them without ratchets and extensions for each set, I don’t need 4 ratchets.

I have passes for the show, but work got in the way.

Last I looked their wrenches were COO Taiwan. I’m still eyeballing the socket sets, compared to Tekton they are $60 more for all the 1/2”, but I’d end up with 3 extra ratchets and a crapload of extensions with Wiha. The other difference is the Wiha are 12 point.

anyone have any idea what sizes are included in this set, and COO? I can't find any info on it or actual pictures.

Total guess but here is there 23pc professional ratcheting set, so i'd assume your link is the non ratchet 23pc set that also goes from 8mm to 30mm as i doubt they would put doubles in a set. This is all a guess so order at you own judgement. https://www.wihatools.com/23-pc-metric-professional-combination-ratchet-wrench-full-set

Very tempted by the torque screwdrivers for scope mounting and other firearms work. Don't need to spend the money though

I saw your post at noontime and called Wiha. The CSR told me it was a 6-30mm set, but she didn't have any other info on it.

I decided to take a gamble and order it. I just received an e-mail that the set is a discontinued item and no longer in stock so my order was cancelled.

The link is fully working now shows pictures and sizes 6-30mm skipping 21&23mm. now that the link is working try reordering. https://www.wihatools.com/23-piece-metric-combination-wrench-set

I sent an e-mail last night because I was confused as to why they would have the set as new and in their SEMA promo section.

They responded today, said it was a glitch that was now addressed, to reorder if I was still interested in the set and they would get it out today if the reorder was in before 2 pm their time.

I ended up buying all their 1/2” socket offerings and a set of wrenches. I’ll report back on quality when they arrive.

Just to add a little clarification, in the past (a few months ago) I've used a 25% and stacked that on sale prices which was a pretty good deal. I would guess with the 40% they excluded sale items because of the coupon value. So while you can't stack this time around, generally, it has worked for me and you can certainly try the next time around.

I received the pair of 12 piece combination wrench sets today. First impression is very pleased with the wrenches. Aesthetically the look good and the included racks are quality. They are about the same dimensions as my Wright Grip 2.0 in the sizes I checked, but they have significantly tighter tolerances on both the box end and open end (which is awesome). I regret not buying the full big set for $200 on sale. I can’t wait to get the socket sets later this week.

Here is the review I posted on Wiha’s site after receiving half of my sockets:

I’m very pleased with this socket set. The close tolerances on the Wiha Tools I’ve purchased mean they tighter on the fasteners with less slop, I’m very pleased with this characteristic. The sockets are full broach and nicely finished in a satin hard chrome. There are some minor dings in some of the sockets that were there before plating, but they are minimal and nothing that will effect function. The ratchet is 72 tooth with low back drag and a retention button. The extensions are well made and the knurling is a welcome addition. The included rails are high quality with metal rails and plastic inserts. I purchased all four options for 1/2” drive. With as nice as these are I regret not buying the 3/8” and 1/4” sets too. I also purchased the smaller sets of combination wrenches, I’m very impressed with the tolerances and finish on those too.
