I spoke with a few reputable marine technicians before purchasing a set of ratcheting wrenches. They all said to go high end with a lifetime warranty. They also said to get offset non flex head ratcheting wrenches with a reversible lever.
I ended up blowing up a paycheck for snap on wrenches.
Gearwrench has one of the best bang for your buck deals on the internet.
The only other budget option I can recommend is Craftsman.
Note that they are not the 120xp models. They also are not offset, and do not have a reversible lever. These are also made in china.
Ebay has a 15%-20& off coupon about twice a month.

If I were to guess it would be a made in Taiwan/China set at that price point. The non offset, no direction lever type ratcheting wrenches are useless.

Same thoughts here considering the price point. Also, that type of ratcheting wrench is useless compared to the flex head and offset ones with a direction switch.

Wiha made... I have a feeling they subcontracted these ratcheting wrenches to someone else. Even saying Wiha made alone is probably misleading.

Taiwan is listed as coo in the tool description for that 12 piece set
I only have the one Wera and the coo is Czech Republic. I contacted Wera on Monday but have not heard back on anything yet. I told them I could send them the fasteners but I have not had this problem with any of the other wrenches I have of the same size.

I think all of these are made under gear wrench's patent so the better name really isn't gaining any quality at all.

Looks like a basic china/taiwan spanner, just a little longer.
Facom make the best i've used, ideally you want one's with an offset.
