Anyone have this set? I bought it to cut up and glue into hex sockets, for long and short reach, etc. - it's one of the few torx keys I've found with a hex shank. Just curious if anyone knows what size shanks the key sizes (T10, T25, T30, T40, T50) have? Anyone have any suggestions for SAE or mm sockets?

I picked up the 13 piece torx set a few weeks ago and they were round. May be an old photo. Have you received yours yet?

No. Bought them on eBay, and the current photo shows "durable hex stock" as Wiha states. I can measure them when they arrive, obviously, just wanted to start collecting sockets for gluing them into...

you can buy ready made torx with socket ends , both long and short too,
the ones your buying will be like a allen key set with all varied diameters ,
by the time you've bought indivdual sockets to mount them you'd be better off buying a ready made set in 1/4 drive.
also on the market ( over here and I guess over there ) you can get a kit box with long and short bits with a 3/8 and 1/2 driver like this
